Amy Reeder, artist of Rocket Girl from Image, announced on her blog this week that she'd been asked by the organizers of New York Comic-Con to design some posters letting people know that harassment simply won't be tolerated.

The result is some really neatly designed imagery that will hopefully grab people's attention and help them understand that cosplayers should always be treated with respect and consideration.

Here's what Reeder said on her Tumblr about the posters:

The smart idea would probably have been to draw one character in my style, for recognition’s sake, but I had this idea in my head and really wanted to try something new. I wanted it to be modular, so they could change it and use bits as they like. And I wanted it to feel inclusive. No one wants to be harassed.

The anti-harassment policy page on the NYCC website makes ample use of Reeder's designs and offers up information about how attendees can report harassment of any kind.

New York Comic-Con is October 9-12 at the Javitz Center in New York City.
