‘Arrow’ Reveals Talia al Ghul’s Role in ‘Second Chances’ Synopsis
The Arrow-verse technically introduced us to Ra’s al Ghul’s daughter Talia once before, but the famed Batman character’s visit to Oliver’s world has been a mystery until now. A new synopsis for February’s “Second Chances” sees Oliver teaming up with Bruce Wayne’s sometime love interest, albeit at a deadly cost.
The CW released a new synopsis for our second 2017 outing, as Stargate SG-1 star Lexa Doig takes the role of Ra’s al Ghul’s other daughter in February 1 episode “Second Chances.” Surprisingly, Talia is only appearing in flashbacks for now, aiding Oliver in his efforts to take down Kovar:
TALIA AL GHUL TAKES OLIVER UNDER HER WING — In his quest to take down Kovar, Oliver (Stephen Amell) gets help from a surprising source – Talia al Ghul (guest star Lexa Doig). However, when she reveals what she wants from him in exchange, Oliver isn’t sure he can accept her help. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) attempts to hack the NSA to help free Diggle (David Ramsey) but when her online efforts are flagged, she faces off against an unknown adversary. Meanwhile, Curtis (Echo Kellum) tells the team about a female vigilante, Tina Boland (guest star Juliana Harkavay), he uncovered online who has been wreaking havoc all over the country.
It’s worth wondering how Oliver gets involved with Talia al Ghul, given that he didn’t seem to have much knowledge of the League of Assassins until Sara’s return in Season 2. In any case, Talia was said to tie into the Prometheus story as well, and could pop up in the present as well.
In the meantime, check out the trailer for January 25 return “Who Are You?” below, and stay tuned for the latest.
