Requiescat In Pace: Ezio Returns In ‘Assassin’s Creed: Reflections’ #1 [Preview]
Assassin's Creed as a franchise is built to not stay in the same place too long, and as a result over the course of many games the series has featured some of the most memorable protagonists in video game history.
Next month, Ian Edginton and Valeria Favoccia are teaming up to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the franchise in Assassin's Creed: Reflections, and Titan has provided us with the first lettered page from the anthology series, which stars fan-favorite characters from ten years' worth of games.
While some people have Solid Snake, Link, or Sonic The Hedgehog as their favorite video game character, for me it has been and will always be Ezio Auditore da Firenze from Assassin's Creed. I followed him through sequels, bonus material and animated shorts and now he's making his official debut at Titan Comics in a brand new story set after Assassin's Creed: Revelations. Even though we know how he paces away (peacefully, as he deserved), there's still so much more room for storytelling with Ezio, and this first issue of Assassin's Creed: Reflections looks like a worthy adventure in the life of a great (fictional) man.
