Star Wars Battlefront Beta Is Coming on Oct 8
EA and DICE have announced even more details about next month's big Star Wars Battlefront beta. The beta itself will run for five days, giving PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One gamers access to Survival Missions on Tattooine, where you'll have to survive ongoing waves of Imperial forces, including Stormtroopers, AT-ST walkers, TIE Fighters and more. You can also try the Drop Zone mode on Sullust, which is comprised of 8v8 multiplayer matches with king of the hill-style gameplay. Lastly, you can partake in the big Walker Assault multiplayer bouts on Hoth. It's a massive 20v20 war between the Rebel Alliance and Empire with Y-Wings, Snowspeeders, AT-ATs and more.

Pokemon Go Will Let You Catch ‘Em All on Your iPhone or Android
While all eyes are on DeNA Games to make Nintendo's official line of smartphone games, Google's Niantic and The Pokemon Company have teamed up to launch something we weren't expecting, Pokemon Go. Nintendo claims Pokemon Go can be downloaded for no charge, which sounds like a free-to-play title to us (likely with a ton of microtransactions).
Star Wars Battlefront’s Drop Zone Mode Explained
According to Polygon, Star Wars Battlefront's Drop Zone mode takes the Empire and Rebel Alliance war and puts it in a massive match of king of the hill. The Imperial and Rebel soldiers will have to duke it out and capture/defend pods that drop from the sky in 8 vs. 8 multiplayer battles. This marks the seventh game mode revealed for Battlefront, and you're going to have to fight to defend or capture the escape pods that drop throughout the map. Drop Zone matches will be 10-minutes-long apiece, but can end early if a team has captured all five pods.
Batman: Arkham Knight PC Patch Finally Released
Since the release of Batman: Arkham Knight on June 23, a large percentage of PC users found that their version of the game was plagued with performance and technical issues. As a result, the game was shortly removed from Steam and all sales of its PC version were suspended. Now, Warner Bros. Interactive has finally released a patch that addresses most of these major issues.
Mega Man Film Reportedly Being Made by 20th Century Fox
Rock, Roll, Dr. Light, Dr. Wily and all the robot masters are supposedly heading to Hollywood in a live-action Mega Man movie being made by 20th Century Fox.
Star Wars Battlefront Open Beta Coming in Early October
As time is winding down to Star Wars Battlefront's November launch (which means Star Wars: The Force Awakens' release is getting closer as well), EA and DICE have decided to host a public technical test of the game to make sure its servers will be able to host the multitude of Rebel and Imperial soldiers planning to play.
