Once upon a time, in a land where Christian Bale's ridiculous grizzly voice didn't exist yet, there was a man named Michael Keaton. He was Batman. And it was good.

While Christopher Nolan's "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight" have redefined the Caped Crusader's cinematic existence for the better, one should never forget Tim Burton and Keaton's days of yore.

Luckily, Toynami hasn't forgotten by any stretch of the imagination as seen in their latest line of Batman movie replicas, featuring an authentic recreation of the "Batman Returns" era cowl and speargun. Both items are limited to 500 pieces, so the chance to turn yourself into a Keaton-inspired hero is pretty rare - especially considering that the cowl and the speargun cost $474.99 and $374.99 respectively at Big Bad Toy Store.

Still, if you've got a sugar mama or daddy with a bank account the size of Bruce Wayne's - or if you just hoard your money for occasions such as this one - then shelling out the dough for these Bat replicas could be worth it. Sure, the cowl isn't wearable and the speargun isn't functional, but that doesn't make either replica any less fun to gawk at.
