The Comics Alliance Guide to Black Friday & Cyber Monday

For many Americans, the Thanksgiving holiday is a time of blessing and gratitude that facilitates the coming together of friends and family both close and disparate to break bread, reflect upon their lives and relationships with one another, and to contemplate the depths of their unspoken disdain.

For other Americans, Thanksgiving is all about Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The busiest shopping days of the year come with bargains accurately advertised as “insane,” and they’re to be found in virtually every dimension of the retail universe. It’s the ideal time of year to fill the deep, dark holes in our souls with material goods that reflect or enhance our personal brands and lifestyle idioms, and you can believe comic book merchants are getting in on the action.

Because we are the second kind and know you are too, we've assembled some helpful comics-related sellers who will be offering some unbelievable bargains this holiday season.

Image Comics
Image Comics is having a massive 50% off sale on all products in its digital web store. Notably, the Image products sold from directly from the publisher come without DRM protection, meaning you're free to use your digital comics however you want and on whatever device you prefer. The sale begins today and runs through midnight on Cyber Monday, December 2. You can check out Image's full catalog right here.
TFAW (Things From Another World)

Comics retailer TFAW is currently selling select graphic novels at 50% off and select comics and "Nick & Dent" (slightly "shop worn" items) at 70% off. On Black Friday the discounts top out at 60% and 80% off, respectively. TFAW tells us they'll also be adding hundreds of items at 50% off including toys, statues and other collectibles along with more specials for Black Friday. The sale ends 12/2 with new "doorbusters" for Cyber Monday.
Drawn & Quarterly
Comics publisher Drawn & Quarterly is having a very attractive 40% discount on any item in its web store between now and December 2. They've broken it all down helpfully in the graphic above.
Archie Comics
Comics publisher Archie Comics has compiled some special bundles for Black Friday, each containing some assortment of subscriptions, comics, graphic novels, art books. In addition those special packages, the Archie store is offering a 30% discount on your entire order (excluding the aforementioned bundles and Afterlife With Archie, which you should already own anyway). The sale runs only through December 1.
Ulises Farinas
Comics artist Ulises Farinas is offering a selection of handsome 11" x 17" prints for $10.00 each (plus $10 shipping/handling in the U.S.) Each is also available as a 18" x 24" version for $50. The sale runs through all of November and December.
Diamond Select Toys
