Boom Studios Heads to Wondercon with Exclusive Covers and More
WonderCon 2016 starts tomorrow, March 25, at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Downtown Los Angeles, and runs until Sunday March 27, and Boom Studios is gearing up with the reveal of three covers for Steven Universe and the Crystal Gems, Mighty Morphn' Power Rangers, and Jonesy, available exclusively at the show, and debuting here on ComicsAlliance.
The Steven Universe and the Crystal Gems #1 cover is by Steven Sugar, the show artist who's also the brother of creator Rebecca Sugar and the inspiration for the title character, and it's fun map of Beach City. The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #0 cover by is by Felipe Smith, and is the first of four connecting covers, with the other three to be offered exclusively at Emerald City Comic Con, San Diego Comic-Con, and New York Comic Con. The Jonesy #1 exclusive cover by My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic artist Agnes Garbowska features Jonesy, Susan, and Rocky attending the con in Adventure Time cosplay, and that's just adorable.
Boom will also be at Booth #1611, with signings scheduled throughout the weekend from Michael Alan Nelson, Sam Humphries, Agnes Garbowska, Trevor Crafts, Matthew Daley, Bruce Boxleitner, Raphael, Jackson Lanzing, Collin P. Kelly, Madeleine Flores, Chrystin Garland, Leigh Luna, Kyle Higgins, Felipe Smith, Bryce Carlson, Shannon Watters, Jeremy Bastia, and Mairghread Scott.
