Things have been quiet on the Booster Gold front for some time, outside of the character's appearances in DC's Justice League International series, but that doesn't mean that the time-traveling superhero isn't still moving towards world domination; the writer of the CW's upcoming Arrow series is about to hand in his script for the pilot of Syfy's television incarnation of the character.Talking to fan site KSite TV, Andrew Kreisberg - who, alongside Arrow, has written for Warehouse 13, Fringe and Star Wars: The Clone Wars - said that he'll be sending the pilot script to Syfy executives next month. "[Writing it] was very cool," he told the site, "I got to meet Dan Jurgens last night, who created the character and the comic book, who I had never met before. So I spent a lot of time explaining to him what a fan I was, so he didn't think I was some random gun for hire who was going to ruin his baby."

The site goes on to say that two touchstones he mentioned in connection with the script were Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Doctor Who, which suggests either a fun ride ahead, or a deeply confusing mix of regeneration and X-Men homages. You decide. Me, I'm just sad there wasn't a Quantum Leap reference thrown in there for good measure.
