G. Xavier Robillard's book "Captain Freedom: A Superhero's Quest for Truth, Justice, and the Celebrity He So Richly Deserves" about about a formerly famous superhero trying to adjust to life outside the spotlight has enjoyed rave reviews from Publishers Weekly and Kirkus Reviews, and the author will soon be launching a one man show based on "Captain Freedom" in Washington D.C.

Robillard will be at Powell's Books in Portland, Ore. this Thursday, June 18, and you can download podcasts of him reading the first ten chapters of the book at their website. The author has also blogged for Powell's in the past, where he addressed topics like, "Who Would Win in a Fight, Unicorn or Narwhal?"
