While many fans' minds are justifiably tuned into the looming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series' season one finale, Nickelodeon let loose a highly anticipated season two reveal during Comic-Con just the same. The newest incarnation of Casey Jones is set to join the show this fall in season two - and he's going to knock the daylights out of a redesigned Mutagen Man, among other bad guys.

Easily one of the most popular of Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird's TMNT characters, Casey Jones has always resonated with fans for being a lovable bruiser who is quick to anger in his sporting good-stocked war on crime.

Nickelodeon teased the character's reveal before SDCC, as it announced that actor Josh Peck (Drake & Josh, Ice Age) would be voicing the character and unveiled a con exclusive poster. The new trailer and art, however, really zooms in on Casey's new character design - note the "Eastman" brand hockey sticks and "Laird" brand pads.

Traditionally conveyed as a bruiser, this version of CJ is closer in age (and height) to the 16-year-old April O'Neil. With quotes like, "I'm the last guy you see before you wake up in the hospital," he definitely seems like the same scrappy dude.
