The Great Super-Costume Poll: Batsuits

Costume design is one of the great strengths of the superhero genre, a way to establish distinctive visual shorthand for a character and reveal key details about concept, purpose, and personality. But which is the best superhero costume of all time? This month, we're asking you to decide, by voting up your favorites and voting down the rest. When we have your votes, we'll compile a list of the greatest super-costumes of all time.

For today's polls, we're looking at a man whose costumes have tended to follow quite similar patterns, but with some notable changes in detail. Batman's costume has had a limited range of colors, a consistent silhouette (allowing for longer and shorter ears), and one perennial question; oval or no oval? Whichever Batman costume gets the highest approval rating in these polls will be deemed the great Batman costume --- and all the others will be dropped down the deepest Batcave chasm.
