Fans will have to wait until an unspecified date of the third financial quarter of this year to pick up Mattel's 16th wave of DC Universe Classics toys, but the toymaker's Comic-Con booth has at least shed some light on what the action figures will look like.

The line includes six brand new figures of Azreal Batman in Knightfall Armor, Creeper, Classic Robin (with vintage or modern head), Jonah Hex, Mercury and Riddler, along with two "best of" reissues of Deathstroke and the Joker.

This line is pretty heavy on classic interpretations of characters (Has Azrael had enough costumes to have a "classic" look now?), which has its pros and cons. Riddler's spandex uniform makes him seem like a guy who could actually punch Batman, while Jonah Hex's classic duds have been done before enough that it'd be nice to see his insane post "Crisis on Infinite Earths" sci-fi reboot costume for once. Or maybe not. Either way, the toys are currently up for pre-order at the Big Bad Toy Store.
