This year's San Diego Comic-Con International is almost upon us, and that means it's time once again for that harrowing social experiment where retailers put a limited number of items in a gigantic room with 150,000 fans and sit back to watch the chaos. It's basically the kind of thing that the Joker does, but on the upside, somebody's going to walk away with some pretty cool stuff.

Case in point: Entertainment Earth's SDCC 2013 exclusive Regular Show and Adventure Time Lunchboxes, based on the Cartoon Network shows (and the awesome Boom! Studios comics). Check 'em out (as well as some suggested uses) after the jump.First up, a lunchbox tied into a relatively obscure show called Adventure Time:

And the one for Regular Show:

Both tin boxes measure 8 5/8-inches wide x 6 3/4-inches tall and 4-inches deep and feature a 16-ounce steel and plastic travel mug. Plus coasters, for those times when you're carrying lunch around in a metal box, but still don't want to damage any of the furniture where you're eating.

Obviously, they're good for carrying lunch, but on the off chance that you're not in school and don't want to take a lunchbox with cartoon characters on it to work, here's a suggested list of things you can fill these bad boys with:

  • Up to two sandwiches and one medium-sized side item (IE a bag of potato chips)
  • 23 classic or 25th Anniversary G.I. Joe figures.
  • 2 VHS tapes (unlabeled)
  • Most components of a Nintendo Virtual Boy™
  • Pirate Treasure (coins and small jewels only)
  • 1 pair of shoes (size 8 and below)
  • So many bees
  • The ashes of a friend or loved one who was really into Cartoon Network original programming.

If you're not going to San Diego, the boxes can be pre-ordered from EntertainmentEarth.com, but SDCC attendees will get theirs first, and quantities are limited.
