All that glitters isn't necessarily gold -- sometimes it's vinyl, and vinyl molded into designer figures of Batman and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Fans can thank Funko for such glittery (and more chrome-like) goodness, as the toymaker revealed new Hikari figures based on the characters at Toy Fair 2014.

Named after the Japanese word for "light," the upcoming Hikari toys are a nod to toymakers like Medicom's Sofubi creations, with an LED-infused twist. On top of having stylish translucent bodies, the figures come packaged in a clear tube with light that can be toggled on and off. We missed the figures at New York City Comic Con this past October, but got to see them all in-person at the Funko booth in time for Toy Fair.

These first Hikari figures are set for a spring/summer release, with more characters from Star Wars, Marvel, Ghostbusters, and others to follow later in the year and beyond. You can get a look at Glitter Blue Batman, Black Glitter Batman, Gold Glitter Batman, Metallic Blue Batman below, along with Glitter Donatello, Glitter Raphael, Glitter Leonardo, Glitter Micahelangelo, Gold Glitter Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, Metallic Raphael and Grey Glitter Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.
