Created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez, Cyborg has slowly moved up the ranks in the DC Universe, growing from Teen Titan into a fully-fledged member of the Justice League.

As of the current New 52 Universe, Victor Stone was an American football champion who was almost irreparably injured by an explosion from one of Darkseid's Mother Boxes. However, his genius father Silas set about rebuilding and saving his life, giving his son with robotic parts and futuristic enhancements, and turning him into the superhero Cyborg.

Now one of the most trusted members of the Justice League, Cyborg's profile has risen dramatically over the last few years. DC have announced plans for actor Ray Fisher to portray the character in their upcoming Justice League movies --- and in a solo film starring the character --- and a new solo series from David F. Walker, Ivan Reis, Joe Prado and Adriano Lucas launches this week. To celebrate the launch of that new series, we've collected some of the best Cyborg art ever.
