Green Lanterns Unite In New ‘DC Universe Online’ Promo Images

"DC Universe," DC Comics' upcoming MMORPG, just got a little greener with new screens showcasing the most well-rounded of the multi-hued galactic corps.

Green Lanterns Hal Jordan and John Stewart can be found flashing their emerald jewelry over at the game's official Web site.

The shots predominantly feature Jordan projecting different kinds of shields and at least one hammer straight to a dude's face. Of course, fans will probably dig the hearty shot of the GL battling his arch-nemesis Sinestro by conjuring a crazy, multi-bladed weapon. It seriously looks like it could do some damage.

The game still doesn't have an official release date, but DCUO's MySpace blog promises more hints next month with another green character.
