Dan Abnett & Andy Lanning to Write ‘Heroes for Hire’

Marvel's go-to guys for all things cosmic are taking it to the streets in "Heroes for Hire," a new series launching in December. Dan Abnett & Andy Lanning will be writing the series, as confirmed in a new press release from Marvel that follows days of teaser images featuring the team's eclectic membership, which includes Iron Fist, Moon Knight, Ghost Rider, Elektra and the Punisher (although there may be additional heroes on the payroll, as suggested by the teaser images you can see after the jump).As previously mentioned, the new series marks a change in tone for Abnett & Lanning, whose Marvel work has been largely confined to to the realm of such spacefaring titles as "Guardians of the Galaxy," "War of Kings," and the in-progress "Thanos Imperative."

Brad Walker will pencil "Heroes for Hire," issue #1 of which comes with a cover by Doug Braithwaite as well as variants by Walker and Harvey Tolibao.
