Major Takes Teenage Girl Brain in Full ‘iZombie’ Season 3 Trailer
iZombie just wouldn’t be iZombie without the brains, and Season 3 is looking like a diverse menu. See Major start a selfie obsession, while Team Z gets their Scooby-Doo on in the first full trailer for the April 4 premiere.
An extended new reel for iZombie Season 3 picks up with the thread started by Season 2’s finale, as a militarized force of zombies invades Seattle with the goal of remaking the world in their image. Don’t let that get you down, however, as we now have Clive in the Team Z mix, and plenty of ways to humiliate Major and Liv for a case.
Here’s how The CW describes April’s premiere:
YOUR FAVORITE ZOM-COM-ROM-DRAM IS BACK FOR SEASON 3 — Liv (Rose McIver) has discovered there are more zombies living in Seattle than she previously believed. In fact, there’s a private military contractor employing a small zombie army, and that army is preparing for the day humans learn of their existence. Major (Robert Buckley) was exonerated for the crimes of the Chaos Killer, but is still considered a pariah. He manages to land a job with the one and only place that will hire him. Meanwhile, Blaine (David Anders) is accused of lying.
And the overall synopsis:
In the third season, Liv has discovered there are more zombies living in Seattle than she previously believed. In fact, there is a private military contractor employing a small zombie army, and that army is preparing for the day humans learn of their existence. Major finds a job and acceptance in this army.
Liv and Clive investigate the murder of a zombie family that may just set off an all-out zombie-human war. Ravi’s former boss at the Center for Disease Control shows up in Seattle to investigate the Max Rager massacre. Blaine finds living as a human with no memory of his evil past is more blessing than curse. Peyton pulls at a thread in one of her cases that may lead to the villain that’s pulling all the strings.
This season, Liv will eat the brains and take on the traits of a dominatrix, a JACKASS-style stunt man, an office gossip, a pre-school teacher, a conspiracy theorist, a dungeon master, and many more.
