James Kochalka's SuperF*ckers is one of the funniest comics I've ever read, so I've been looking forward to the animated adaptation ever since it was announced. Produced by Cartoon Hangover, the adult-oriented side of Adventure Time and Bravest Warriors' Frederator Studios, the series of shorts has finally kicked off on YouTube, and it's just as gloriously foulmouthed and hateful as the original.

Check out the first episode -- which, even though it's censored, is probably still pretty NSFW -- after the cut!

If you're not familiar with the original comics from Top Shelf, they're essentially Kochalka's version of the classic '50s and '60s Legion of Super-Heroes, but without any kind of filter on the characters' behavior, or any real superheroing. Those comics were full of teens just being absolute jerks to each other for little to no reason, from their gleefully meanspirited recruitment drives to that one issue where Shrinking Violet shoves a piece of Kryptonite in Superboy's brain and then makes him cry so that she can ride out on his tears (this happened), so it's not really much of a stretch to get to what Kochalka's doing.

The only difference is that SuperF*ckers operates on the premise that these superpowered teens are truly horrible people who hate each other. It's pretty great.

The first episode is available now in both censored and full-on cussin' versions, with another new episode coming every Friday!
