When Jean Giraud, better known as Moebius, died in March, the world of comics lost one of its most talented and influential creators. Fortunately for his fans, he left an incredible legacy, and his talent is now being highlighted in a pretty interesting way: A series of videos of Moebius drawing, recorded in late 2010 for the "Trans Forme" exhibition of his work, quite possibly the last recordings of the man at work.

They're fascinating to watch, and if nothing else, they show how amazing he was right up until the end of his life.

For me, the work that Moebius does in these videos and the skill with which he's able to pull it off might as well be actual magic.
