‘Legends of Tomorrow’ Debuts the ‘Justice Society of America’ in New Photos
Were there not enough superheroes on The CW battling it out for your attention this fall, Legends of Tomorrow will add six more by its second season’s sophomore outing. Meet the “Justice Society of America” in full, as new photos from the season reveal costumed looks for all!
Long before its October 20 debut, the second episode of Legends of Tomorrow Season 2 reveals its full photo set for the aptly-titled “Justice Society of America.” We’ve met Patrick J. Adams’ Rex Tyler, and seen glimpses of Maisie Richardson-Sellers Vixen and Sarah Grey’s Stargirl, while the photos also display Kwesi Ameyaw as Dr. Mid-Nite, Dan Payne as Obsidian and Matthew MacCaull as Commander Steel.
So reads the synopsis:
TEAM WORK — The Legends travel to Nazi-occupied Paris, but find themselves surrounded by the Justice Society of America (AKA JSA.) The Legends discover a time aberration that threatens the JSA, but the JSA wants nothing to do with them or their help. Nevertheless, the Legends force their way into the JSA’s mission to intercept and seize a mysterious package. Nate (Nick Zano) is desperate to prove that he should be part of the team, but he has a secret that he shares with his grandfather Commander Steel (Matthew MacCaull) that might make it difficult. Ray (Brandon Routh) is so focused on impressing the JSA, he puts himself and Vixen (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) in danger. Meanwhile, Stein (Victor Garber) has stepped in as the leader with Rip (Arthur Darvill) gone, but when decisions aren’t being made Sara (Caity Lotz) seems to be the one calling the shots.
We’ll likely see a longer Legends of Tomorrow Season 2 trailer soon (everyone’s doing them), but what do we make of the JSA?
