Link Ink — Empire State Building Lit With Turtle Power
In honor of the 25th birthday of the (now 20-something) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the Empire State Building turned green. They've also got a new live-action/CGI film on the way for 2011, and TMNT creator Peter Laird will be on board. Laird told an interviewer last year that he'd love to have Sarah Michelle Gellar and Chris Evans -- who did the voices for April O'Neill and Casey Jones in the last movie -- come back and play those roles in a live-action film, so fingers crossed. Question: Would Buffy look good as a redhead?
"Star Trek," "Tek War," "T.J. Hooker" and Travelocity fans will be pleased to learn that William Shatner is adapting his novels to comics and writing his own original title, called "Chimera." There's an interview and preview art over at Wizard, where they even manage to kiss his ass a little about the ridiculous feud he started with J.J. Abrams for not featuring his dead character in the upcoming Star Trek movie. (Wizard)
