On sale this week is Lucille, the new graphic novel by Ludovic Debeurme. The touching and deeply intimate story of two young people struggling with anorexia, alcoholism, and various levels of filial distress, Lucille has earned comparisons to Craig Thompson's landmark Blankets. In support of the 544-page book, which was previously released in France to massive acclaim, Top Shelf have produced a seven-minute film about Debeurme and his work, featuring interviews and musical performances as well as testimony from Joseph Ghosn, editorial director of GQ/Vogue/Glamour France, and Angouleme Grand Prix winner Charles Berberian. For more of the lovely Lucille, check out a 20-page preview right here on ComicsAlliance.
