At a Fan Expo panel yesterday, artist Marko Djurdjevic announced that he has quit Marvel Comics over creative differences and frustrations with the revision process. He then proceeded to burn his bridges rather spectacularly by saying Marvel "never put [him] with any writers [he] liked," attacking Duane Swierczynski J. Michael Straczynski, and putting his editors on blast in the middle of Marvel's ironically named "FF Team Spirit" panel, which we can only guess was an incredibly awkward hour for everyone. Thank goodness for Jonathan Hickman, who added, "Marko clearly is in the middle of a divorce [with Marvel.] I'm not -- we're still having sex." [via CBR]
