Mattel Showcases 4″ ‘Batman: Arkham Origins’ Action Figures And More [NYCC 2013]

Mattel's new take on 4" action figures will extend into Batman's "Arkham" video game series world in the coming months, with new toys based on Batman: Arkham Origins, plus Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and the Wii U-exclusive Arkham City Armored Edition. Like the new movie toys, these figures fall under the catch-all "DC Comics Multiverse" umbrella, which is a sound way to put Batman, Bane and Deadshot from Arkham Origins, Mr. Freeze from Arkham Asylum, and Azrael and Armored Batman from Arkham City together in one series. They're all fairly spartan accessory-wise, and seem like they'll come packed with the bare necessities (Mr. Freeze has his gun, Azrael's got some bladed weapons, Armored Batman has his electro-fists), but that could change closer to when they ship.
