Matthew Olin Constructs Superheroes From Typography [Art]

Comics can be loosely characterized as a merging of words and pictures, but Matthew Olin is taking that definition in a different direction with his superhero portraits literally constructed from characters from different typographic classifications. It's a cool design approach that displays the attributes of characters like Superman, Catwoman, Spider-Man, Batman, Thor and others with a fresh sensibility. Despite Olin's best efforts on this series of posters, however, I have a feeling I'll always be stuck seeing Spider-Man through the lens of the PlayStation 3 font... or is it the other way around? See what you make of Olin's "Superhero Typographic Classifications" after the cut.
