Marvel has released a plethora of new still photographs from the production of Captain America: The First Avenger on the occasion of the film's website being updated to feature actual content. There you can find the theatrical trailer, Superbowl commercial and story synopsis, but for the new photos, you need only read on. The new still photos shift the focus from the sufficiently exposed Captain America character to his supporting cast like Howard Stark, Bucky Barnes and the skinnier, shorter version of himself, Steve Rogers. Also on display is an impressive assemblage of HYDRA agents, who we know are in fact Nazis.

"Captain America: The First Avenger" will focus on the early days of the Marvel Universe when Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) volunteers to participate in an experimental program that turns him into the Super Soldier known as Captain America. As Captain America, Rogers joins forces with Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) and Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) to wage war on the evil HYDRA organization, led by the villainous Red Skull (Hugo Weaving).

The film opens July 22.
