New York’s hottest club is today’s Power Rangers trailer. It has everything: teens breaking sinks, dinosaur robots, Bryan Cranston’s giant head, and Bill Hader punching a tiny homunculus made of dirt. Not to mention Elizabeth Banks in an uncomfortable green suit building a monster out of metallic Silly Putty. Man, there’s a lot going on in this movie.

So by now we all know the story: five kids stumble upon a crashed spaceship, mess around where they shouldn’t, and get superpowers. That doesn’t sit well with the rest of the universe, namely Banks’ mean green Rita Repulsa, who makes it her sworn duty to bring the Rangers down. The kids get some help from their mentor in the form of a big head, and a small robot voiced by an SNL alum, but they’re gonna need all the giant robots they can get (who totally aren’t Transformers) to save the planet.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Saban’s Power Rangers follows five ordinary teens who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so, they will have to overcome their real-life issues and before it’s too late, band together as the Power Rangers.

Power Rangers hits theaters March 24.
