Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards saw actors Christian Bale and Joseph Gordon-Levitt join director Christopher Nolan on stage to introduce a new preview of The Dark Knight Rises, the third and final film in Nolan's popular Batman cycle. The trio began the presentation with a brief clip package showcasing key moments from the previous Batman films Batman Begins and The Dark Knight before launching into the new Dark Knight Rises footage, which is heavily focused on Catwoman and Bane and may or may not be spoilerific depending upon your level of anticipation for the film. Watch at your own risk.

EDIT: The video has been terminated by litigious powers beyond our realm of understanding.

Based on the DC Comics characters originally created by Bob Kane, Bill Finger, Doug Moench, Graham Nolan and Chuck Dixon, among others, The Dark Knight Rises concludes director Nolan's much beloved (by us) Batman cycle in what promises to be truly epic fashion. The film opens July 20 in the U.S.
