Paul Pope’s Classic ‘The One Trick Rip-Off’ Returns In Color [Preview]

On sale next week from Image Comics is The One Trick Rip-Off/Deep Cuts, a 288 page hardcover from Eisner Award-winning writer/artist Paul Pope (Batman: Year 100, Heavy Liquid, 100%). Originally published 18 years ago in the pages of Dark Horse Presents, The One Trick Rip-Off tells the story of Tubby and Vim, a young couple looking to leave their pasts, and the city of Los Angeles, behind them. But first, they need money, and Tubby has a plan. They'll have everything they need if they rip off his pals in the One Trick Gang -- whose members can control people with their minds.

This new collection presents The One-Trick Rip Off in color for the first time, along with 150 pages of rare and unpublished work from Pope. Image Comics has provided ComicsAlliance with a preview of The One Trick Rip-Off, with colored pages by Jamie Grant (All-Star Superman), which you can view after the cut.
