SDCC: Peter Jackson and James Cameron Get Ambushed at Comic-Con, talk 3-D
In one of those wonderful moments that only happens when insane geeks meet insanely popular geeks, Peter Jackson and James Cameron got an unexpected visitor during their recent Comic-Con panel.
While they weren't being freaked out, Jackson and Cameron discussed the 3-D versions being made of "Lord of the Rings" and "Titanic." While "Titanic" will apparently require a year or so before it's completed, the 3-D version of "Lord of the Rings" is on hold (possibly because it's huge pain to pull off).
Watch the insanity in 2-D after the jump.
