Project Rooftop’s Batwoman Art Takes on a New Meaning
Although this week's Project Rooftop Batwoman art series was originally conceived as a response to Greg Rucka and J.H. Williams III's "Detective Comics" run coming to an end at DC, today's news that the publisher would continue the adventures of Kate Kane in a new ongoing series should have the assembled contributing artists in good spirits. Whatever their initial motivation for creating their slick assemblage of tributes, fans of the female Caped Crusader are going to be glad they got to work.

As pointed out by Robot 6, PR's Batwoman spotlight showcases pieces by Megan Rose Gedris, John Allison, Paul Milligan, Dustin Nguyen & Derek Fridolfs, Evan Bryce, John C. Worsley and more. Every take is done in the contributing artist's unique style, which seems to have something of a brighter context now that fans now the heroine will continue in publication. Perhaps she'll sport a few of these looks in the future? Check out a smattering of Project Rooftop's new art offerings after the jump.
