They say that big things come in little packages, and that's certainly the case when it comes to the latest artistic endeavor from Brazilian comic book artist Marcio Takara.

Currently based in Canada, Takara has recently taken to working on "a series of tony superhero drawings," according to a post over at Oculoid. While Takara's regular sized artwork gets a big thumbs up as well, there's something to be said for his smaller bits of concept art.

The "Tiny Heroes" gallery consists of characters from various publishers, the majority belonging to the iconic heroes of Marvel Comics and DC Comics. Of course, there are some other unexpected but certainly welcome faces in there like Allen the Alien from Robert Kirkman's "Invincible," Bridget Flynn (formerly Scrap, now known as Supervision) of Jay Faerber's "Dynamo 5" and a slew of video game characters like Mega Man, Link and Kratos.

Head on over to Takara's homepage to view the full line-up of tiny heroes for yourself.
