Square Enix Previews ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Play Arts Kai Action Figures [SDCC]

In addition to selling a limited edition run of black and white variant versions of its Batman: Arkham City toys at San Diego Comic-Con International this past weekend, Square Enix also debuted prototypes for upcoming The Dark Knight Rises Play Arts Kai figures. The toymaker was clear to label that the figures were for display only and are awaiting official licensor approval, but collectors should at least be pleased to see that figures are in the works given the film's release this week on July 20. Batman is seen here with some basic accessories like a Batarang and some other gizmos, while Bane is kicking it minimalist style. Both toys stand a little taller than 8". Get a closer look at The Dark Knight Rises figure prototypes from the Square Enix booth after the jump.
