DC Comics' new Batman/Supermanseries hits stands later this month, but that book isn't the only one in which Big Blue is going to be teaming up with one of his Justice League cohorts.

In October, new ongoing series Superman/Wonder Woman by writer Charles Soule (Swamp Thing) and artist Tony Daniel (Action Comics) will follow the exploits of the DC Universe's most powerful power couple as they fight crime and make out in thunderstorms.

For fans who may be worried about how the budding romantic relationship might affect either Superman or Wonder Woman's characterization in the New 52, Soule promised on Twitterthat Diana definitely won't be downgraded to a mere girlfriend who needs rescuing in the title.Check out Daniel's hot-and-heavy first glimpse at the new series below.
