I don't know if it's just this year, but it certainly feels like Hasbro is showing off a lot of its planned Toy Fair secrets a little early this year. Not that I'm not glad to see what's in store before the annual convention takes place next weekend. That goes double for any early peeks we're getting regarding Spider-Man: Homecoming. Though much of what's to come is still a closely guarded secret, Hasbro has revealed today four new figures coming to the Marvel Legends line under the Spider-Man banner. What's more, the figures aren't just all focused on the friendly neighborhood wall-crawler.

I'm not one to get my hopes up for a movie based on the tie-in toys, but dang it, Hasbro is putting out a Spider Racer vehicle that shoots Nerf darts as part of its Spider-Man: Homecoming plans, and now I'm hoping we get to see a Spider-Buggy of some sort in the movie. It's not going to happen. I know that. But the idea has been planted by these toys, and now it's all I want from this movie... aside from two hours of Tom Holland charming the pants off everyone in the theater. The Spider Racer is just one of a few Homecoming toys Hasbro has teased for the upcoming feature ahead of this year's Toy Fair. Want to know what else is in the works? No sooner did we get our first official trailer for Spider-Man Homecoming did Hasbro roll out the first action figure from the upcoming Sony/Marvel Studios team-up. Spider-Man already got his debut in a special Marvel Legends Captain America: Civil War set with Iron Man and Captain America, so instead of just rehashing a new version of him (which will likely happen anyway), we're getting our first good look at the new Vulture from the rebooted franchise.
