I have to admit that while I definitely enjoyed "Iron Man 2," I couldn't help myself from feeling that something was a little bit... well, off. After some contemplation, I realized that the transition from Terrence Howard to Don Cheadle just wasn't handled quite as well as I would have hoped. I think the film really could have benefited from a lengthy reintroduction of James "Rhodey" Rhodes, affording viewers with the opportunity to readjust to the new actor playing the character. I don't think that his first scene in the court room did the transition justice.

If nothing else, Marvel Studios could have always gone down the Pokémon route.

Seriously, if Marvel had only hired Howard back for one day, they could have filmed his evolution into Don Cheadle. It would have been delightfully surreal, magical even, so much so that it would have gone a long way towards fitting the "Iron Man" world's realism into the super-powered and often mystical world of "The Avengers."

As it is, it's just a wonderful sequence of Photoshop hilarity from Fork Party. I'm cool with that, too. See the full evolution sequence after the jump.
