It's kind of hard to believe that Mego-style action figures are still cool in 2010, but that's the exact situation we're looking at here. Mattel's recently launched Retro-Action DC Super Heroes line is absolutely awesome, and fans are in store for further excellence with the announcement of a second wave of Retro-Action toys.

For the upcoming wave, Superman and Green Lantern evacuate the stage in favor of Aquaman and Batman. The villainous Lex Luthor and Sinestro have likewise been replaced to match their respective nemeses: the vicious Black Manta and the disgraced Two-Face.

Batman, Aquaman, Two-Face and Black Manta are currently available for pre-order at Big Bad Toy Store as a full set of four for a $79.99 price tag or individually at $20.99 a pop. The figures are expected to arrive in July 2010, just two short months away. If you're a Retro collector, it's time to start saving that moolah.Source: Toy News International
