The X-Men universe’s latest baddie may be the biggest — and oldest — of them all, and as noted by Rose Byrne’s Moira MacTaggert, he’s always got a little extra help in the form of four followers, known as the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (clever). Joining the ancient mutant villain’s team are Magneto, Storm, Angel and Psylocke, all profiled in the latest featurette for X-Men: Apocalypse, which offers a bunch of new footage from the upcoming film.

As Michael Fassbender describes in the above video, Apocalypse is an incredibly formidable foe who can amplify the powers of other mutants — which would explain why Fassbender’s Magneto is so easily seduced into his service. He’s joined by X-Men newcomer Alexandra Shipp, who plays a young Ororo Munroe, aka Storm, along with Ben Hardy’s Angel / Archangel and Olivia Munn as Psylocke. Together, these mutants will become dangerously powerful allies to Oscar Isaac’s Apocalypse.

The featurette offers plenty of previously unseen footage, including sneak peeks at some of the big action set pieces and new looks at Apocalypse and his followers. There’s even a brief shot of Isaac as the villain before he transforms into that giant bluish purple maniac — because you can’t have Oscar Isaac in a film and not show us that handsome face at least once.

As a bonus, 20th Century Fox has released a pretty cool new character poster for Psylocke:
