Unlike The Avengers, which consists of an almost completely costumed cast, Diamond Select Toys and Art Asylum had far more civilian style characters to make into Minimates for Marvel's The Amazing Spider-Man movie line this summer. Having debuted both Spider-Man and the Lizard last month at Toy Fair, it's kind of nice to see so many plainclothes characters get blocky figures. Joining the superpowered hero and villain of the film across the line's Toys "R" Us and comic shop assortments are Aunt May, Uncle Ben, Gwen Stacy, Captain Stacy a SWAT Team member and pre-Lizzy Curt Connors. I'm especially fond of the Peter Parker Minimate for its dead-on Andrew Garfield 'do and rad skate board, which I believe is the second Minimate skateboard in history after Marty McFly's from the Back to the Future line. See larger images of both Minimate assortments after the jump.
