High school students who go through the trials and tribulations and relationship woes of teenage life with a song in their hearts that they can't help but share with the world? That's either a description of the students of McKinley High from Fox's series Glee or Archie Andrews and his friends from Riverdale. With so much in common, it's no wonder the two are teaming up for a special crossover next year.

Archie has released the cover art for Archie #641, the first part of a multi-issue storyline that teams the casts of Archie and Glee in a story by Glee producer and writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Archie artist Dan Parent. Looking at the cover, you can tell that some of the Glee cast are either easier to draw that others, or have less issue with their likenesses - Rachel, Finn and Brittany have clearly been redrawn at some point, with their faces delineated in thinner lines than everyone else on the page. See for yourself:

Whether or not the storyline will reflect the continuity of the show by the time it appears, with Rachel, Finn, Puck, et al graduated from high school and a new line-up for New Directions taking their place, remains to be seen. Archie #641 will be released February 27, 2013.
