As much as I might not like Tim Burton's Batman movies, I will always kind of love Michael Keaton. I mean, I saw Multiplicity in the theater. Twice. That's how much I love that dude. And as a result, I could not possibly be more interested in Birdman, a new film by Alejandro González Iñárritu starring Keaton as an actor best known for playing a superhero, a role that cast a shadow over his career and may be destroying his mental health.

Also, the Hulk, Gwen Stacy and Snow Job are in it.It's pretty exciting.

By that, I of course mean Ed Norton, Emma Stone and Zach Galifianakis (what, you didn't remember he was Snow Job in that one Funny Or Die video?), which would be a pretty intriguing cast even if they weren't in a film that played up to Keaton's former-Bruce Wayne status and involved explosions and some kind of dragon monster in the trailer. Seriously, everything about this is intriguing.

One assumes, of course, that Iñárritu's Birdman is not to be confused with the Alex Toth-designed Hanna-Barbera superhero-cum-lawyer of the same name, although I'd be lying if my first thought when I heard "Michael Keaton in Birdman" wasn't that it would be that very thing, something I am ONE THOUSAND PERCENT ON BOARD FOR. You know, just in case anyone's keeping track.
