This week we're looking at another show that's actually in production, and imagining what it could look like. It's been a while since there was an update about the television series based on Dwayne McDuffie and Ernie Colon's Damage Control, but the three original miniseries just recently showed up on Marvel Unlimited, providing easy access to revisit one of my favorite concepts from my early comics-reading days.

This month in Marvel's February solicitations, there's a fight you never knew you wanted, answers you've been clamoring for for over a year, and an odd reunion of an odd superhero team, of a sorts.

Jennifer Walters barely made it through Civil War II alive, and in Hulk #1 she's dealing with some lingering side effects. As the new ongoing series by Mariko Tamaki and Nico Leon begins, the former She-Hulk is trying to live a quiet, normal life. But as this first look preview reveals, rage is bubbling up inside her, and the monster lurking within her brain and body wants to get out.

When you’ve been fortunate enough to land the headlining role in a potentially lucrative film franchise, the least you can do is give a little back. Superhero actors making guest appearances in hospitals to spread a little cheer to bed-ridden children has become an increasingly common practice in recent years, with Chrises Evans and Pratt both leveraging their celebrity as Captain America and Star-Lord, respectively, to brighten sickly youngsters’ days. It’s a harmless PR stunt — the movie gets some positive, feel-good publicity while making some kid’s day/week/life, and everyone walks away smiling.

In the wake of the upcoming IvX event, Marvel is planning another push of Inhumans titles, with two titles, Royals and Black Bolt, announced earlier this week. Now Marvel has unveiled the third title in the line; a new incarnation of Secret Warriors by Matthew Rosenberg and Javier Garrón that sees veteran Warrior Daisy Johnson, aka Quake, recruiting a team of young Inhumans, including Ms. Marvel and Moon Girl.

When people get intensely into a fandom, they often develop strong feelings about characters. The question most often asked of the ComicsAlliance staff is a variation of, “Which comic books should I be reading?” or, “I’m new to comics, what’s a good place to start?” The Wednesday deluge of new comic books, graphic novels and collected editions can be daunting even for the longtime reader, much less for those totally unfamiliar with creators, characters and publishers, and the dark mysteries of comic book shopping like variants, pre-ordering, and formats. Have we mentioned that the official Logan Instagram is gorgeous? Have we said that enough? Because it is, and two new photos show off a couple more small details of the film. We’ve seen the trailer, and while it’s in color and not black and white like the Instagram account, I certainly hope that the movie keeps some of the atmospheric-ness of its photos to give us a more contemplative superhero movie that the Instagrams hint is possible.

By now, you know (and have probably seen) Doctor Strange, the 14th entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But did you know that attempts to make a movie about Doctor Strange date back decades before Iron Man? In 1978, they even made a Doctor Strange TV movie, in an attempt to recreate the successful formula behind the popular Incredible Hulk TV show.
