As Marvel seemingly abandons the Motion Comics format for "Infinite Comics," Dark Horse is ramping up production on its own Motion Comics with a twist: Instead of selling the comics as digital downloads or on DVD as in the past, these all-new Motion Comics are being created for Felicia Day's very own YouTube channel, Geek & Sundry.Dark Horse has been involved in the limited animation world of Motion Comics before - The first few arcs of Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Season 8 were adapted and released as digital downloads a couple of years ago - but the new partnership with Geek & Sundry will see adaptations of popular series such as Usagi Yojimbo, Hellboy, The Goon and The Umbrella Academy, using "never-before-seen motion graphic techniques," released every Wednesday starting next month.

Geek & Sundry, announced at this weekend's Wondercon, is Felicia Day's contribution to the YouTube premium channel network. In addition to Dark Horse's Motion Comics, the channel will feature all-new material from Day (including the new season of her web series The Guild), Wil Wheaton and internet musical cult, Paul & Storm. The channel officially launches April 2, but already has previews of its six new shows up to tease and tantalize.
