DC Debuts ‘Brightest Day’ #0 Interiors

The dawn of "Brightest Day" #0 breaks in stores this Wednesday and with it, twelve of DC's most famous fallen heroes (and a handful of not-quite-heroes) have returned to the land of the living. The question now is: what happens next?

The Source has a first look at the issue's opening five pages, giving some insight into the fate of at least one of the returned characters: Boston Brand, formerly known as Deadman.

Written by Geoff Johns and Peter J. Tomasi, with covers by David Finch and Ivan Reis, the launching maxiseries is also expected to address the returns of Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Reverse-Flash, Maxwell Lord, Captain Boomerang, Aquaman, Firestorm, Martian Manhunter, Hawk, Osiris and Jade by fleshing out their roles in a world that's been without them for varying lengths of time.

Whatever the formerly fallen heroes are back for, DC promises it's for a reason. Check out the preview after the jump for a look at what could become Deadman's new purpose.
