DC’s Zazzle Store Has T-Shirts, Skateboards and More on Sale
On the off chance that you don't have enough stuff at your house with super-hero logos on it, take heart!
From now until Sunday, the DC Comics Store at Zazzle.com is part of a big 30% off sale, and they have some seriously awesome stuff.
It's part of their back-to-school deal, and it's not just t-shirts. They've got binders, mousepads, hats, keychains, stickers and of course, skateboards, so it's well worth checking out. After the jump, a few of my favorite products.
Batman Hi-Tops, featuring the cover to "Detective Comics" #27. Sure, they're bright yellow with red laces, but come on. Batman shoes.
Superman Sneakers, in case the Batman ones are a little too garish. Plus, they go pretty well with...
The Superman Skateboard, perfect for grinding down the rails of the Bottle City of Kandor. The board (and shoes, t-shirts, etc) features the cover art of "Superman" #201, and while the story where Clark Kent abandons Superman (for about 11 pages) is a strange choice to go alongside the first appearance of Batman, Curt Swan and George Klein's cover art is pretty great.
The 1960s Batman Skateboard: I showed this to two people, including CA Assistant Editor Caleb Goellner, and the immediate response was the same as mine: "I don't know how to skate, but I need to learn."
Justice League Crest Shirt: I'm not sure that I've ever seen this design before, but I've got to admit that it's pretty cool, even if Wonder Woman gets totally shut out and the little trademark signs are slightly distracting.
There are more designs (and multiple products for each design) at the link and they're on sale 'til Sunday, so check 'em out!
