Two comics about the afterlife, and one comic with Composite Superman on the cover: December's going to be a good month for DC Comics. ComicsAlliance has an exclusive first look at the covers and solicitations for Midnighter and Apollo #3, Deadman: Dark Mansion of Forbidden Love #2, and Super Powers #2. They're all great covers, but they couldn't be more different in tone!

The Midnighter and Apollo cover, by ACO, depicts Midnighter strolling confidently through the literal Gates of Hell, and it's the scale of those gates is what makes the image so striking. On the Deadman cover, Stephanie Hans depicts a creepy image of the famous ghost of Boston Brand cracking a mirror from inside, while a ghostly woman in the foreground weeps blood. And then, for the biggest contrast of all, Art Baltazar's Super Powers cover features the Composite Superman, with his distinctive green skin and a great new design based on the more current versions of Superman and Batman's costumes!

The full covers are below, along with the solicitation info for each book.
