The younger, faster, fitter version of Nick Fury has been around in the Marvel Universe for a good while now, but outside of a few adventures in anthology titles, he really hasn't had the chance to shine as his own character. That all changes soon, as James Robinson, ACOHugo Petrus and Rachelle Rosenberg's Nick Fury #1 comes out next month, and we've got a first look at the gorgeous unlettered art.

It's absolutely awesome that Marvel managed to nab Midnighter's ACO for this new Nick Fury comic, and if anyone can homage that classic layouts of Jim Steranko while forging their own path, ACO is the one to do it. The real standout star of these pages, though, is Rachelle Rosenberg, who provides the vibrant and beautiful colors, stepped things up considerably from her phenomenal work on Mockingbird. Nick Fury is sure to catch a lot people's eyes when it hits shelves next month.
