This month's "Jughead" #200 from Archie Comics spawned a number of news stories (including the publisher's first variant cover and first story by "Robot Chicken" writer Tom Root), but one of the most endearing may have been the reveal that the publisher's new two-fisted parody "Betty the Vampire Slayer vs. Vampironica" was on its way to mobile devices in the coming months via iVerse Media.

Parodying both "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Vampirella," the story will take place in the digitally released "Betty and Veronica Summer Special Presents" format, meaning its safe to assume both Betty and Veronica should come out of the homage better rather than worse-for-the-wear. In anticipation for the tale's upcoming release, Archie Comics has provided us with two exclusive pages of early artwork. Take a look at the vampire bat-infused action of pages 4 and 9 after the jump.
