The world of Funko just got a little bit more animated thanks to the new additions coming to the anime portion of the Pop line. No longer will you have to worry about trying to hunt down import figures for the likes of Sword Art Online, Fairy Tail, Soul Eater or Naruto, as you'll be able to pick up vinyl figures based on those starting right now. Yeah, you heard me (read me?). Not only did Funko announce these new figures, but they're actually available today. Perfect time for stocking stuffers.

Interestingly enough, this is the first time many of these properties are making the leap to the Pop format. Given how long Pops have been around and how absolutely bonkers fans of these anime shows are, it's hard to believe Funko is only just getting around the releasing these. It bodes well for the future of anime at Funko, too.

The Naruto Shippuden line includes Naruto Uzumaki and Kurama, the fox of nine tails that's been trapped inside the ninja for a long time. The Fairy Tail set includes protagonist Lucy and her companion Happy, as well as Natsu, who's got a penchant for dragon-slaying. Asuna's and Kirito's avatar personas make up the Sword Art Online set, which is apt given that the two of them must work together to survive the game. The Soul Eater series is another smaller set, but give that it includes Soul and Maka (and her scythe), it should hold fans over until Funko can see if the sales dictate more characters being added.

Though not an anime, Adventure Time's Marceline will be getting a new Pop figure as well, which features the vampire rocker with her signature bass and a nice yellow hat. It's not easy being a vampire queen, but when you've got as much style as Marceline, it's also not that hard.

In addition to all the new Pops, Funko also announced a new Vinyl Idolz Stan Lee figure. Stan's been immortalized in Pop form already, but this new Vinyl Idolz piece portrays the Marvel mainstay in a bit more realistic light. Though it's still stylized, it's much closer to the real man than the exaggerated Pop proportions. Plus, he's throwing up the Spidey hand, so you know this Stan is down to party. The Stan Lee Vinyl Idolz figure will be available in February.
